Christine Liebsack's Climb for Clean Air with the American Lung Association

One of my goals has always been to climb a mountain. Well I can not think of a better way to achieve that goal than to climb Mount Rainier with the AMERICAN LUNG ASSOCIATION. With Rainier being considered the "toughest climb in the lower 48" I am very excited and a little nervous!

This annual event was founded by Lou Whittaker in 1988 to raise funds for the critical work of the Lung Association and to heighten the public awareness about environmental and health issues related to air quality. Each year the Climb for Clean Air generates nearly a half million dollars to support the ALA's goals of reducing tobacco use, preventing indoor and outdoor air pollution and educating families living with lung diseases (like asthma, lung cancer and emphysema) to help them live more comfortably.

In order to particiapte in the climb, I need to raise $3500. You can help by supporting the American Lung Association in my name. DONATE ONLINE with your credit card! I will continue to update my progress on this website and include pictures. Please keep checking...And sign the guestbook-It helps to keep me going see your support!
