Called my mom while i was driving out to hike Tiger Mountain. It was hailing and she made me promise to call when i was on my way home. Met up with Cindy and we were pleasantly surprised that the weather cleared up while we were hiking. However about a mile from the top, the trail was so slick that we decided to turn back. I felt like we were cheating a little, but in hindsight it would have been ridiculous to try and keep going in the dark. My pack felt heavy tonight and even made my back sore. I dont know if this was because the pack was heavier or because i was lacking energy. My knee did not hurt until near the bottom on our way down and the pain did not linger-good to know!
