We had an hour at Muir and then we headed down. The snow was firm which made coming down easy. The last hour was a killer as it was blazing hot and i was burning to a crisp, but too anxious and tired to stop and lube up.
When we got to the bottom there were people clapping and i started looking for Cami and my mom and Maggie. I spied Cami and Mags and headed over for hugs. Maggie was taping it all. My mom had gone to find me in the snow, but when i found her a hug has never felt so good.
I then showered and got ready for the dinner. Had a great time at dinner and then at the awards. Some of the guides hung out with us later. Cami processed with me as much as i could about the climb, but at about 9:30 I said, I have to sleep. Cami said that i fell asleep instantly and never moved the entire night.
